Overview
Fêfk-tizè Dêtîkè was founded durring the early 14th century in fall of the year 1304, by Tara Zeshonhe. The establishment of Fêfk-tizè Dêtîkè suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Fêfk-tizè Dêtîkè was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Fêfk-tizè Dêtîkè is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Fêfk-tizè Dêtîkè is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of broad canals streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town is the proud owner of a thick set of fortified walls fashioned from querried stone blocks. While not up to snuff for a fort or castle wall, the town's walls are naturaly much larger than those of forts or castles. Therefore, the construction such a wall is most expencive. Fêfk-tizè Dêtîkè's buget focused wall would serve its community well in battle in spite of looking unimpressive compared to castles and fortresses. The top tier civilian fortifications have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.
A look around Fêfk-tizè Dêtîkè gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes.
